The management of GULF ENERGY recognizes the importance of effective QHSE control in a modern business environment. It is further acknowledged that previous strategies for control of QHSE tended to rely on external stimuli and were only effective after events had occurred. In order to demonstrate firm commitment to QHSE management and further develop the previous safe performance record of the Company, it is intended that the Company adopt a pro-active approach to all QHSE related matters.

The Company intends that its operations whether Onshore or Offshore will be carried out in full compliance with relevant Legal and Industrial Standards including those set out in clients’ contractual agreed documentation.

In order to achieve the objectives, set for this QHSE MS, GULF ENERGY will make certain that all Employees and Contractors are informed of their responsibilities and of the requirement to actively participate and co-operate with management in support of the implementation of this Management System.

The Company further recognizes the importance of positive demonstration of commitment by management. Demonstration of commitment to QHSE matters will be shown through the participation, application and involvement in the practical compliance of the Company’s QHSE Policy and Objectives.

Management applies QHSE policies and rigorous standards throughout the company within GEI management systems which are comprised on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007 & API Q2.

For the successful implementation of this Integrated Management system is requested to demonstrate its commitment to improve Quality, Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental performance by actively and visibly participating in the implementation of the International Standards: ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health & Safety),Specification for Quality Management System Requirements for Service Supply Organizations for the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries Q2, including the allocation of necessary resources and the training of staff. The policy is also to fulfil or exceed our customers’ expectations through clear roles and responsibilities for continuously improving services and maintaining improvement in Quality and HSE management performance through regular self-assessment to reduce all risks to an acceptable level.
