Gulf Energy Int. has a long-standing QHSE commitment to the highest standards in provision of quality services, health and safety of our employees, customers, and contractors as well as to the protection of the environment in the communities in which we live and work.


QHSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The management of GULF ENERGY recognizes the importance of effective QHSE control in a modern business environment. It is further acknowledged that previous strategies for control of QHSE tended to rely on external stimuli and were only effective after events had occurred. In order to demonstrate firm commitment to QHSE management and further develop the previous safe performance record of the Company, it is intended that the Company adopt a pro-active approach to all QHSE related matters.

The Company intends that its operations whether Onshore or Offshore will be carried out in full compliance with relevant Legal and Industrial Standards including those set out in clients’ contractual agreed documentation.

In order to achieve the objectives, set for this QHSE MS, GULF ENERGY will make certain that all Employees and Contractors are informed of their responsibilities and of the requirement to actively participate and co-operate with management in support of the implementation of this Management System.

The Company further recognizes the importance of positive demonstration of commitment by management. Demonstration of commitment to QHSE matters will be shown through the participation, application and involvement in the practical compliance of the Company’s QHSE Policy and Objectives.



Policy Statement, standards, and accountability

Management applies QHSE policies and rigorous standards throughout the company within GEI management systems which are comprised on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007 & API Q2.

IMS POLICY

We are the task force of GULF ENERGY INT; one of the major companies in this field of Providing of Inspection Services for: -

  •  Tubular(OCTG).
  •  Lifting Gear Inspection.
  •  NDT(General & Marine Equipment)Rig Parts/Equipment.
  •  DROPS Survey.
  • It is a policy to meet all legislative commitments, implement and execute licensed activities to the satisfaction of customers and contracting parties.

    For the successful implementation of this Integrated Management system is requested to demonstrate its commitment to improve Quality, Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental performance by actively and visibly participating in the implementation of the International Standards: ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), Specification for Quality Management System Requirements for Service Supply Organizations for the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries Q2 Second Edition, and ISO 17020:2012 (Requirements for the Operation of various types of bodies performing inspection) including the allocation of necessary resources and the trainings of staff.

    All hazards impacting on Health, Safety, and the Environment (HSE) must be identified on a continuing basis, listed, evaluated and then improvement measures taken by each directorate/department. Suggestions for improving the system are encouraged and welcomed by every employee.

    It is policy to minimize injuries and ill-health of company employees, interested parties and prevention of environment caused by activities, services and operations. It is a policy to progressively reduce the impacts of company operations on the environment by reducing emissions, effluents/discharges and waste and improving the efficient use of natural resources and energy.
